Wow.
I thought he would be a Charger forever.

I know my Eagles are looking at Julius Peppers to add to our D-Line.
Cole + Peppers would be awesome.

It was inevitable for mine. The guy has been on the decline for sometime.

they were saying somewhere like houston would be a likely place for him

the thing is though he wants to be at a club that actually has a chance of winning a SB

Hope he doesn't come to Philly.

Would much rather see Shady getting more GT with Westy getting some runs as well.

The Texans were very good this year, improved a lot. Unlucky not to get a Wild Card spot because they play in the toughest position. I guess a RB would be another dimension to the Texans offense next season.

*busts into tears* Sad
NO,NO,NO,NO!!!!!

Can understand why we are doing it.
Makes Shady number 1 and Westy was just not worth paying all the $$ with the injury risk.

Hope he will be very successful whatever he does Smile

Sproles is welcome in Philly IMO.

Surprised SD are letting both of their main RB's go.
Particually as they are both good players.

Tomlinson is done, but getting rid of Sproles is quite surprising.

True. Tomlinson wasn't a massive surprise. Still think he will be a starter wherever he goes because if he finds form he is a massive threat.

Sproles must be gutted. Finaly gets a shot at being top RB at SD then they dump him.

Sproles isn't an every-down back, and with San Diego having no choice but to release Tomlinson with the money he was asking for, they needed someone else to take the ball up. Rivers has now put himself up with the top 5 QBs in the league, so it is obvious now that they have become a passing team. I expect them to go hard for someone like Ronnie Brown (IF new deal is reached beteen owners and NFLPA), Chestor Taylor or Pierre Thomas. They'll hope for a Spiller slide in the first, but will most likely find themselves a 2nd round RB.

We also have to keep in mind that Sproles isn't exactly gone yet. He is just testing Free Agency. There is a good chance he will play again for San Diego.

Just some news from today. T.O won't be in Buffalo this year, the Ravens haven't ruled out going for him, along with Westbrook. Thomas Jones is also likely to become a Free Agent next week. The Jets feel that after 2 very productive years, 31 year old Jones will start to wear out and the future of the Jets #1 running game will be put in the hands Leon Washington and Greene.

Hoping that by releasing Westbrook we will have enough to poach Peppers.

Peppers will be a great pickup for an Eagles D that is in big need of some natural pressure on the QB from the D-line.

I don't expect the colts to pick anyone up from here, with Polian's history. We will continue finding good value of undrafted players, though there isn't anyone on that list that is good enough and suits our needs. There are some good veteran RB's on the list, but none that would fit our system well like Addai does.

Yip.
To often we rely on Cole to get pressure and so teams double team him and the rest just aren't good enough.

We have really good depth in the D-Line but we need another big name to draw pressure away from Trent.
