I reckon they should because of the incidents that have occurred in the past 5 years.

4 incidents that comes to mind are:

Ball tampering: In 2006, Pakistan had been ball-tampering during a test match against England which Pakistan forfeited by staying in their change rooms. In 2010, former Pakistani captain Shahid Afridi was caught red-handed on Channel 9 cameras, "biting" the ball during a One-Day game against Australia.

Match fixing: In 2010, Pakistan was accused of match-fixing in the Sydney Test against Australia. Pakistan keeper dropped about 4 catches off Mike Hussey and that led to his axing. And recently, 4 Pakistani players (Asif, Aamer, K.Akmal and Butt) were accused of match-fixing in the Lords test in England.

Obviously it was pretty sus how, Pakistan always bowls out the opposition team cheaply and then just collapse in their batting innings. They looked certain beat us in that Sydney test until, we batted excellent in our 2nd innings and bowled well.

wat are your thoughts???

They shouldn't be banned, the players should be banned. Also the players haven't been accused of match fixing, it was spot fixing two different things. They didn't fix the lords test, they fixed a couple of balls so a bookie can win big on guessing when a no-ball will be bowled (at odds of 20-1), which results in a much better reward to the fixer.

Why should a team be punished for a couple of bad eggs?

Also theres no proof that they fixed the Sydney test (although accused) so it would be unjust to ban them for something that has no proof to justify it.

In regards to the 2006 incident, Hair (the ump) had little proof (again) that they were ball tampering, although they shouldn't have stayed in their room. You can't ban a side based on something that was 4 years ago and that has already be delt with.

Ball tampering is something that a majority of teams would do in some sort, it happens its just so hard to prove.

Stupid call
