Yeahhhhh f*** off poms!! Great to have wrapped it up so quickly i just hope we continue our form into the G and don't turn dud again overnight.. Can't wait for the Boxing Day test it's always special and the result has a huge bearing on the outcome of the series.. Look for Punter to hit back hard.. Beer can piss off now they brought him in due to his knowlege of the WACA ( Laughing ) so now someone with abit more experience at the G can come in.

Gone abit far there i'm not a massive Siddle fan but some of the players you mentioned are definately not as good as him.. Chris Swan is one of the best bowlers in Australia, sooo good if only he was younger Sad

yeah i would love to see Hauritz play, and would prefer him to play. I hope it happens, but dont think it will. The funny thing is Beer has only played like 3 games at the WACA so his knowledge is very over-stated. He is a Victorian, and i expect him to get the nod, although id prefer Haury. Id love to see Hauritz take a 5 for to go with his ton in the shield game to put some pressure on the selectors.

Also tipping a Ponting ton.

Grin

Job well done boys. Just brilliant to be well and truly back in the series and now the pressure is right back on the Poms. Stoked for Ryan Harris, he bowled okay in Adelaide and he's done a fantastic job these past couple of days. Cool Congrats to Mitch Johnson on single-handedly getting us back into the contest on day two, one of the great Ashes spells. Although it will count for little if he can't back up this performance for the remainder of the series. Huss is just in stunning form at the moment, just an amazing turnaround.

Bring on the Boxing Day Test, one of the great events on the sporting calendar. Ponting will almost certainly play for mine and I sense a big one is just around the corner for him. I'm a big fan of Siddle but we almost certainly have to play a specialist spinner in Melbourne. It will be interesting to see who the selectors go with for Melbourne.

1-1, the series is well and truly alive, great stuff!

AUSSIES!!!!!

How quickly people forget the wickets that Siddle DID take. Ungrateful little bastards.

The thing with Siddle is that he moves the ball off the pitch, which is generally harder to play. This is why he took 6 in Brissy and nothing since as he didn't get the same movement in Adelaide.

But to say some of those people in stokes list are better then him is a joke... Bracken, Lee, Hastings, Wright, Cameron, McKay and Nannes are defs not better then Siddle. After all he did take 20 wickets last Ashes series and has an average of 22 in South Africa, on pitches that would suit him alot more then the ones in Australia.

Mark Taylor, Mark Slater, Adam Gilchrist all being bastards aswell for suggesting he would be dropped.

I havent forgot anything, merely suggesting he is the one in line for a dropping. Stop being a little princess, people can disagree with you, and your making yourself look more idiotic by the post, give up.

So who would you drop then or would you go to the G with 5 pacemen?

Also I'd say Siddle only bowled 13 overs because the others got the Job done... no need for him, like Watson didn't bowl at all.

If Australia are going to play a spinner in Melbourne (which they should) He will be the one to get dropped, theres just too much going againts him.

Drop Siddle for Hauritz...

However they'll go with Beer considering they'll look like a joke if they don't go with him. Much like the same way they didn't go back to Hauritz.

which is what i've been saying for the last 3 pages. Only for Cynic to rubbish me.

I like Siddle, love his passion and agression, but the odds are heavily stacked against him, and theres no doubting that Ponting prefers the other three paceys.
