Can't wait for Boxing Day, so good to chill out in front of the Telly and watch the Cricket.. It's such a special occassion and the importance of this game just makes it all that bigger... Really hope they set the record and get close to 100,000.. As for the game yeah i expect Beer to play which is crap but if he rips up then he's going to be a new Aussie hero. Siddle hasn't been great of late but it's just such a big game to be experimenting with a bloke very few people have seen play. I do wish him luck if he gets the chance though.. Tipping a Hughesy ton and Punter and Clarke to get amongst the runs aswell, I just hope its a cracking game of cricket.. Simply Marvelous!!

C'Mon Australia!!

I really want sids to play because its his home ground and i want to see the siddle-prior rivalry. Smith can be the spinner for us.

Expecting: Ponting ton up because MCG is like his lucky ground; Huss to continue his form with another 50 or 100 and obviously a AUSSIE win!! 2-1

This test match just owns every other on so many levels. Absolutely love it. And what better circumstances could it be under? The Ashes, 1-1, Australia attempting to regain the urn...it just has it all. Could go down as one of the all-time great matches.

<3 Boxing day.

Go Australia. Give it to the Poms.

If Beer doesn't play it will be a repeat of The Oval last year.

Finn may miss for Bresnan which may be a good thing if Bresnan is able to keep the runs in check + Bresnan is a very capable batsman.

Paul Collingwood to ton up, the MCGs lack of pace and bounce really suits his batting technique and he usually comes up with the goods under pressure.

On another note, Prior signed on with Victoria for the Big Bash Laughing

Exactly. And Smith can turn it more than Beer. So more dangerous....

Steve Smith will give the batsman a "4 ball" every over. Its not One Day cricket where he can prevent this by having 5 out on the fence. Its pressure and lack of scoring of the spinner that bring wickets, Smith won't be able to do this at test level.

England would rather Australia play 4 seamers + Smith then 3 seamers a frontline spinner + Watson.

Let's hope that Hughes doesn't try and go over-board and get out from a silly ball like Clarke did when he hit that quick 20 runs in the last innings.

If I was a bowler, i'd love to see clake play his on-drive... Falling over and a huge gap.
