Mick Lewis Laughing What an idiot, just strolls down the other end and gets out from a beautiful direct hit from Brendan Drew.

A dominant perofrmance by Tassie. It was all set up by a great partnership from Birt and Paine, both played very good innnings. The bowling was very good as well by Tassie. Rana cleaned up the tail well with some good variation and the spinners Krejza and Doherty were both very economcal and picked up some wickets as well. I reckon Doherty is just about the best Limited Overs bowler in the country atm.

Well done Tassie.

Tonight's match between Victoria and Queensland should be a better game, based on recent Big Bash seasons you would have to think the Vics will take this one out but Qld have some pretty good T20 players that should prove a challenge. Interesting to see how Michael Lumb does for Qld, is very highly rated in T20's and hopefully for them he will score some runs. Vics to win this though - have a great team once again.

C'mon Bulls! Last seasons loss against Victoria in the SF was tough to cop, hopefully we can get some revenge and get our year off to the perfect start. We're due for some success in this format of the game... with the inclusion of Lumb and with Lehmann at the helm we should really be up there challenging for a spot in the big one.

Tasmania looked the goods the other night, great all round team performance, the two spinners worked a treat. Tim Paine, top knock and what a tough nut... ouch that would of hurt.

Can't wait to see Michael Lumb open up, He's in good touch scoring 32 from 18 for the QAS not long ago but he's capable of so much more. Like afc said it sucks the Roar and Bulls clash. Vics are always a great team and it's going to be tough, we are extremely young and pretty inexperienced but still capable of getting the points i think.

Work your magic Boof!! Bulls!!

Can't exactly remember but was that game at the Gabba? If it was I was there and it was so hard to watch. (Might be thinking of different games)

Really looking forward to the match tonight, Victoria won the toss and chose to bat. Bit surprised to see Chris Lynn batting all the way down at 7 tbh, sort of happy now that I took him out of my fantasy team if he is batting down there.

Victoria are definitely the team to beat but we have some very good players and I think we are really capable of picking up a victory tonight. No doubt the Vics have a brilliant squad but if we can keep the pressure on them all night I think we can win. Carn Bulls!

Lemme know if it doesn't work. Victoria off to a great start... they have a great starting XI. Also looks great with a very good crowd at the 'G!

Were currently 2/116 off 13

A good opening partnership of 102. Finch made 58 off 38 and Hodge 38 off 31
Wade and Hussey currently batting

With White, Bravo and Quiney still to come I think 180 will be on the cards

Hussey has smashed it, Lynn catches it falling over rope, he throws it up in the air so it isnt 6. But he throws it a couple meters over the rope, he then jumps and grabs it and in while in the air throws it to Reardon who thinks he has caught it. Just to be sure he throws it in for a direct hit to run out Hussey.
On replay Lynn foot was on rope when he threw it first time
SO overall it was a 6

I reckon the cow corner at the MCG should be called the "Cameron White Corner" since he likes hitting sixes in twenty20s.

189 will be hard to chase, but it is a flat wicket so anything can happen.

All over Victoria has won by 33 runs a very good performance by the boys

Finch 58 (38)
Hussey 42* (23)
Hodge 39 (30)

Rimmington 1/34 (4)
Simpson 1/28 (3)
Cutting 1/26 (3)

QUEENSLAND 9/155
Hopes 36 (26)
Carseldine 35 (36)
Lynn 31 (23)

McKay 3/26 (4)

Well it was hard to watch. Don't get me wrong it was good to watch the likes of Hodge, Finch etc with some great batting and McKay and Nannes with some awesome bowling, but as a Bulls fan I was disappointed. Victoria were always going to make a massive total but I was hoping that whatever they made we could get close and hopefully get a win.

Keep your heads up Bulls, it's always hard to beat the Bushrangers. Look forward to the next game!

^^ Thought you went for the vics haha..

If Lee didn't try and block out the innings we would have been in with a shout, all that batting in Banga has made him a worse batter Laughing .. We never really got going in either aspect tbh they got off to a wonderful start and the momentum just carried on.. Chin up.

EDIT: Also forgot to add the cracking call from Flemo.. something like "Lumb has come through the English youth system representing the South African U19s" so true haha.. Also Waz is so annoying he's wrecking my Big Bash experience, F*** Off.

Seriously, Clint McKay is being overlooked for the Australian test team. One test and cya later. He will destroy the england batting lineup in the ODIs with his change of pace. Tonight he demonstrated what he can do.

Leeca just couldn't find the middle of the bat tonight, plus we got off to a shit start and in the end that was the difference. We just couldn't get any momentum going tonight. Credit to Hodge and Finch who really set the platform and the Victorian bowlers were really effective with the slower ball.
Wazza please stick to commentating League games.

Great performance Vics! It really was set up by a terrific opening partnership by Hodge and Finch. Finchy really hit the ball well tonight. My man Dave Hussey was brilliant as well, how crazy was that ball when he hit that 6 that was sort of caught and then the direct hit.

I thought McKay was brilliant with the ball, his variation was great. Nannes bowled well as well. Our bowlers all did pretty well actually. I thought Jimmy Pattinson bowled well despite figures of 1/37.

A really encouraging performance! I'm really liking our team this season. We've got a very strong bowling attack and also a very flexible batting line-up. Quite a few of our players can bat in most positions from 1-7.

Good crowd of 30,000 as well, was a good atmosphere. Up the Vics!
