14-3 at HT.

Offence has shown signs that we can score enough. Defence has not nearly been good enough, no pressure on Rodgers, we aren't even blitzing yet that has been the hallmark of our defence for years. Unless the D can make some stops, we won't be winning anything.

That'll do.

Rodgers fumbles on 3rd down, 2 plays later Vick finds Avant for a 24-yard TD Smile
Had a feeling Avant was in for a big game.

good game dude, i thought you had us for a while there. could you imagine if you guys stuck with vick from round 1? good win by the boys, we now face atlanta which is going to be tough, at least we improved on last year.

Vick started week 2... I doubt much would've changed. However the way he played Philly may have got the week 1 win, but there are alot "what ifs" about that game.

As the match went on I really wanted Philly to come back and tbh I thought they'd won. I just wanted to see Atlanta v Philly in the NFC championship game Laughing

now if Sea and GB win next week, Seattle will be hosting the NFC champ game and a huge chance to make the superbowl, considering how difficult it is to play at quest. who'd a thunk it.

Some people are saying that was Vick and Akers last game for us.
I highly doubt that, we want Vick to stay and he seems very happy here. And Akers is still a very good kicker, despite todays poor performance, and we would be crazy not to keep him.

As for the game, I'm still hurting. The play keeps replaying in my head Laughing As Vick said after the game, he just got greedy. I'm willing to admit the better team won though, even if our defence gave them a considerable helping hand. But overall, I'm really proud of the team. This was seen as a rebuliding year for us with McNabb going but Vick took it upon himself and turned this team into a Superbowl worthy one. Next season we will be back better and stronger from what happened today. I thought this was our year.... maybe I was just a year ahead of myself.

E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!!!

Dude, i am watching the game now, there was nothing special by us, we need to improve next week against Atlanta or we will go down too.

You guys will keep Vick, he should get MVP but its not up to me.

Your loss of Jackson would have hurt major.

GO PACK GO!

I would of said Vick, but he had a poor (by his standards) end to the season. So Brady has MVP wrapped up, Vick will probably get offensive player of the season.

Its not like you can blame him. Cassel went through something similar after his season as starter in NE. Kid obviously has talent, otherwise Ried would've have initially made him the starter at the start of the year.

Its hard to see where he goes, Arizona may be the best fit for him.

Do Philly now go for VY type as back up if Kolb does leave?

Of course you can't blame him, but he has no hope of starting for us so long as Vick is around.

As for where he goes, one of Arizona, San Fran or Miami I reckon.

No sure who we would go for as back-up, Kafka isn't good enough to be a back-up yet. And the draft is hardly packed with good QB's. Would have to look for someone in FA or a trade.

The top ones this year will go early. Mallett will be the first QB drafted for sure and if Newton declares he'll go in the first round as well. After that there's a couple of decent QB's like Jake Locker out of Washington although his stock dropped this season and also Blaine Gabbert from Missouri.

Some interesting numbers in terms of ratings in the US for the four Wild Card games.

Quote :
Most-Watched Shows on Television, Week of Jan. 3-9, 2011 (with average viewers)

1. FOX Wild Card Playoff (Packers-Eagles) 39.3 million
2. NBC Wild Card Playoff (Jets-Colts) 33.4 million
3. CBS Wild Card Playoff (Ravens-Chiefs) 28.5 million
4. NBC Wild Card Playoff (Saints-Seahawks) 28.4 million
5. Two and a Half Men 15.4 million
6. The Mentalist 14.9 million
7. CSI 14.2 million
8. The Big Bang Theory 14.0 million
9. 2011 Sugar Bowl (Ohio St-Arkansas) 13.6 million
10. Desperate Housewives 12.8 million

Source: NFL & The Nielsen Company

Simply ridiculous numbers. The BCS National Championship Game yesterday got 27,316,000 which is the most viewers ever on a cable channel as that's what ESPN is.

As I said, some amazing numbers. Shows how popular and powerful the NFL and College Football are. They're so much bigger than any other sport in the US.
