This is the way i see it..

Quality over quantity. Getting 17 coaches doesn't automatically mean the game will be a success as we have already seen in the past. I will say not everyone will remain active, it's a given and you can't say otherwise. When this happens the whole game is wrecked, teams get easy wins and teams that may have already lost to that side that will now be unmanaged will be disadvantaged. Everyone is aware how the game works now, trading will be hard due to people wanting to keep their best players and the clubs like Collingwood etc will be advantaged like usual because they have better depth to work with. eg. If i get Port or someone crap straight away i'll go well that's shit i'm not even going to bother.

With a draft everything is kept even, you have the chance to draft your favourite players and if we get the right people and the draft keeps ticking over we should get it done comfortably. All the rookie drafts and draft picks etc mean nothing anyway because this will be a yearly thing. The other system failed so don't you think it's time to try something new?

So please when the time comes to cast your vote, consider these things for the good of Australia. The country will be a much better place.

Vote 1 Kevin Rudd.

I'm Beckham, You don't make sense.

Yearly Thing? We're keeping the squads for the next seasons onwards if we do a draft, we're not doing one every season.

s4.zetaboards.com/aflmanager

not meaning to spam - but look at this site.

Started it up this year, it had 16 coaches/teams. Then we had to cut two, now we've had to cut another two to make it 12.

Point is - we wanted 12 to start with, and now we've had to cut it there, 4 people gone inactive bringing the site down.

A small, active tight group of 12 is better than 14 with inactives.

That's not based on an actual forum like this one. Its just the game. Where this has other things to do.

JRR - been in this game before and didn't stick around.

Maj - well, he's so committed to TAE he won't stick around apart from the game (i think)

ACRDB - shown that he'll stick around...real.

We now have a 15 team competition. If we could find one more we could go with 16, unless random assigning is voted.

A bit. Need to have an appreciation of player value as well as understanding of the supercoach system.

I might pair you up with that nolabah guy - co coaches so we can see he's a good candidate and you get a 2nd opinion to make sure you don't make any mistakes, for north?

oh - god no. North is just leftover so someone had to take it. I'm not going to hand select a north coach but take anyone for other jobs - it's a case of who's available, and who'll take them.

Yeah essentially I'm just letting it roll. I'll set up free agency and the draft about november 22nd, so we have the draft after the actual one. People can still trade though.
