Went all out in my semi too, with only 2 front liners (U20 reps) rested as they were on lower energy - won my semi well (and glad I TNT'ed as a Normal probably wouldn't have done it) but #1 seed lost his semi by a solitary point and I now go to the final against a team playing WNWIM by default as he is inactive for over a month now - weee!

Sobering though that Anton Radoi, my Romanian NT Midfielder and best player by a large margin is out for a week, so he'll not only miss the final (should manage without him) but also the Qualifier match after that which kills any chance I had of promoting to Div II - boo Sad

pick your weakest link (or oldest player) and replace him - $2m would get you a decent 90-100k CSR player these days, maybe more...

Make sure your training is up to scratch - you should be on L4 all round (L3 coach obviously) - so that your teams grows sufficiently.

1. Culpin would be it. 34 now. Might explore the market.

Nice.

2. Level 4 training facility, level main coach. L3 trainers. All good.

waste of time having L4 facility with L3 trainers - get them up to L4.

Make sure your not throwing training at older players, refocus on training up some young superstars - decent 17-yr-old players, with 10x training (and thus typically play for the U20s) can usually make in excess of 120k CSR by the time they've had 4 seasons of training.

Be aware there's not heaps on the TM just now while playoffs are on - good (albeit older) guys come out after playoffs usually.

Yikes. I'll have to wait 2 months just to get up to speed with trainers.

I distribute my training among five players:

Jonathon Collier

Right handed, right footed, in reputable form Decreasing.
A conservative player with collected discipline, decent leadership, and despicable experience.
Stamina: Princely Handling: Admirable
Attack: Admirable Defense: Impressive

Jumping: Sumptuous Speed: Moderate
Agility: Limited

Preston Drinkwater
18 y/o (R1, D6) | 38,924 CSR | $6,737 p.w. | 193cm | 105kg | Australia
Right handed, right footed, in satisfactory form Stable.
A conservative player with collected discipline, admirable leadership, and non-existent experience.
Stamina: Princely Handling: Reputable

Buck Langbain
18 y/o (R12, D2) | 35,973 CSR | $6,216 p.w. | 183cm | 112kg | Australia

Jean-Luc Laverdière
19 y/o (R16, D5) | 89,029 CSR | $10,829 p.w. | 188cm | 82kg | France
Left handed, left footed, in average form Stable.
A conservative player with controlled discipline, average leadership, and despicable experience.
Stamina: Sumptuous Handling: Impressive
Attack: Grand Defense: Amazing
Technique: Limited Strength: Moderate
Jumping: Satisfactory Speed: Sumptuous
Agility: Admirable Kicking: Reputable

Carmine Sintich
18 y/o (R5, D3) | 34,967 CSR | $5,508 p.w. | 202cm | 111kg | Italy
Left handed, left footed, in moderate form Increasing.
A collected player with controlled discipline, moderate leadership, and non-existent experience.
Stamina: Impressive Handling: Limited
Attack: Reputable Defense: Princely
Technique: Satisfactory Strength: Impressive
Jumping: Impressive Speed: Horrible
Agility: Limited Kicking: Despicable

Sorta happier to keep doing so. Drinkwater and Langbain have my two best youth recruits in ages (although they needed to be 18 before I could see everything).

assuming you only have attack sessions to work with, another handling and attack - so 2 on each. If you have another stam - then double-up stam and hands. if you have defence sessions - put a defence or strength

You'll want to move on to training some 17-yr-olds next season instead of 21+ guys too IMO - next season's a good time to start because a well-trained 17-yr-old could be in with a shot at the U20s

I doubt I'll find anyone not outrageously priced who's better than at least the 18yos but we'll see.

Just get a newly aged 17-yr-old and give them 10 sessions - in 4 seasons you'll have a 100kCSR+ monster Smile

I've got my trainee:

Clinton Hendrickson
17 y/o (R1, D1) | 17,383 CSR | $5,359 p.w. | 191cm | 104kg | Australia
Right handed, right footed, in satisfactory form Stable.
A conservative player with collected discipline, despicable leadership, and non-existent experience.
Stamina: Satisfactory Handling: Average
Attack: Satisfactory Defense: Reputable
Technique: Reputable Strength: Decent
Jumping: Satisfactory Speed: Satisfactory
Agility: Limited

Should be an okay flanker. Stupid bidding war sucked some of my finances but I'm thinking of selling these three anyway:

Preston Drinkwater
18 y/o (R1, D6) | 40,532 CSR | $8,041 p.w. | 193cm | 105kg | Australia
Right handed, right footed, in satisfactory form Stable.
A conservative player with collected discipline, admirable leadership, and non-existent experience.
Stamina: Princely Handling: Reputable
Attack: Admirable Defense: Impressive
Technique: Reputable Strength: Impressive
Jumping: Moderate Speed: Average
Agility: Average

Daryl Lawler
18 y/o (R14, D1) | 20,272 CSR | $5,280 p.w. | 190cm | 96kg | Australia
Right handed, right footed, in reputable form Stable.
A collected player with collected discipline, moderate leadership, and despicable experience.
Stamina: Decent Handling: Average
Attack: Satisfactory Defense: Admirable
Technique: Reputable Strength: Admirable
Jumping: Limited Speed: Moderate
Agility: Moderate

Buck Langbain
18 y/o (R12, D2) | 37,558 CSR | $7,304 p.w. | 183cm | 112kg | Australia
Right handed, right footed, in decent form Stable.
An aggressive player with flawless discipline, moderate leadership, and despicable experience.
Stamina: Impressive Handling: Admirable
Attack: Satisfactory Defense: Impressive
Technique: Reputable Strength: Princely
Jumping: Moderate Speed: Moderate
Agility: Limited

Hopefully 50k combined and I'll be right. Gonna pump Hendrickson with Langbain and Drinkwater's sessions and we'll see what happens in three seasons' time.
