Over 100k like an idiot.

Since I'll have 10 nets saved up:

1x Stamina
2x Attack
1x Defence
1x Technique
1x Handling
1x Speed
1x Agility
2x Strength

Yeah he's not really worth $100k but then this is U20-potential time and prices get a bit silly.

You'll need to decide what kind of flanker you want - 6/7/8 and train accordingly. More tech/speed for 7, more defence/strength for 6, more str/tech/att/def for 8.

I think I'm good with Millikan at 8. I might have Elam in the wrong spot then. =_=

You've probably seen my response to the pool distribution in the Quad-Nations cup ... can't fricking believe how one-sided it'll be.

BR copy/paste jobs suck big time. 6, 7 and 8 respectively.

Mick Elam
24 y/o (R15, D5) | 77,237 CSR | $11,538 p.w. | 198cm | 129kg | England
Right handed, right footed, in average form Increasing.
A psychotic player with flawless discipline, admirable leadership, and average experience.
Stamina: Grand Handling: Princely
Attack: Reputable Defense: Amazing
Technique: Impressive Strength: Princely
Jumping: Reputable Speed: Satisfactory
Agility: Limited

Beale Beufet
28 y/o (R10, D1) | 87,884 CSR | $11,814 p.w. | 199cm | 120kg | France
Right handed, right footed, in satisfactory form Stable.
A timid player with collected discipline, non-existent leadership, and decent experience.
Stamina: Amazing Handling: Impressive
Attack: Admirable Defense: Grand
Technique: Impressive Strength: Princely
Jumping: Princely Speed: Limited
Agility: Despicable

Marc-Antoine Millikan
22 y/o (R9, D4) | 109,247 CSR | $14,749 p.w. | 197cm | 130kg | France
Right handed, right footed, in moderate form Stable.
A timid player with rebellious discipline, horrible leadership, and limited experience.
Energy:
Perfect
%
Stamina: Grand Handling: Admirable
Attack: Sumptuous Defense: Amazing
Technique: Amazing Strength: Grand
Jumping: Impressive Speed: Decent
Agility: Reputable

Millikan can stay right where he is. I might have to swap Elam and Beufet.

Looking at the 17yo, he has better defensive/strength than technique/speed. So I should give the first two double sessions, you'd think.

The beauty of heavy training is that you can mould them however you like.

My personal opinions on the 3 loosies are:

6: Defensive bulwark, needs great defence and strength to nail the big tackles, good technique for the breakdown too.

7: Breakdown master - best technique for the breakdown, good defence/strength to make the tackles, good speed to get to the breakdowns quicker (also helped my 7 get a 90m intercept try last night! Smile )

8: All-round, weight/strength play the biggest role in the scrum of the 3, needs good attack/defence to play a role on attack and defence, good tech and speed for the breakdowns too.

Also helps to have good height & jumping on either your 6 or 8 for a lineout option - both is better but at least 1.

Obviously all three need as much stamina & handling as possible.

Yikes. Hendrickson's 20kg behind those guys and nowhere near as tall. Might have to demote him to a prop or something.

IMO height and weight aren't a problem for opensides at all - I'd look at training your new boy for 7 - and I think having a great 7 is a HUGE asset.

All right. So I'll give him an extra tech and speed sessions.
