If you want to lose, then by all means use this back line.

Wat is so bad about that backline?

Gidley is in it...

Wat is so bad about gidley he is an International Rep and a great leader for NSW and Knights.

I know ayee. And it's always better to have a fullback who can also play in the 6 or 7 . Like Hohaia or Carney

I think the spotlight is more on the number 6.. lots of players but who really is in form to play there?

Hodkinson is in form, but he's a halfback. Pearce was in form up until he was injured, so I think whoever the NSW 5/8 is, they'll only be there until Pearce returns.

I'd give 5/8 to Campo. He's not setting the world on fire, but at least he has Origin experience.

if the blues win game one i highly doubt they will change their halves combination to accommodate pearce if he is fit for game 2.

1. J.Hayne
2. B.Morris
3. M.Cooper
4. J.Lyon
5. J.Morris
6. Campo
7. Noddy

Hayne is a freak and having him at full back will be more dangerous than gidley who should be the utility (i personally wouldnt even pick him but he will be there)
cooper is there mainly coz of the way him and morris work.
lyon has been doing pretty well and will make the team even though i dont like him.
and josh morris on the other wing just for the size and speed

the halves im not too sure on... if pearce wasnt injured i would have him at HB and 5/8 i seriously dont know who to pick. i dont think bird has done enough to earn it although he would step up for origin and would give a bit of mongrel to the backline.

For me:
1. Hayne
2. Morris
3. Cooper
4. Lyon
5. Tahu? Unsure
6. Campese
7. Kimmorley

I think Hayne, Lyon and Kimmorley are assured spots, probably Cooper also.

re-thinked mine:
1. Jarryd Hayne
2. Michael Jennings
3. Jamie Lyon
4. Matt Cooper
5. Brett Morris
6. Kurt Gidley
7. Brett Kimmorley
need to keep that dragons combination in Cooper and Morris, Hayne needs to be fullback, if they cant put Jennings in the centres put him on the wing and Gidley can still be captain but at five-eighth.

Heard on the radio about the Blues squad..

1. Gidley (c)
2. Morris
3. -
4. Tahu
5. Hayne
6. Lyon
7. Noddy

14. Idris

That's what I had heard on Nova this morning, so yeah. Not sure if true.

Why would Idris be on the bench...
Also, Hayne is a waste on the wing, he's either fullback, or he will have minimal impact in Origin.

I hope Lyon doesn't play 5/8 and instead partner Tahu in the centres. I'd much prefer Campese or Barrett to be the NSW 5/8.

He's still a waste on the wing. Most matches he played for Australia, he was barely sighted.

I have to agree with Rozza...the games he played for us last year were simply amazing

this Jamal Idris on the bench for NSW is true because they have said it on ten news sport as well. Idris won't do that well to be honest. Cooper and Jennings will be the centres.
