Well we only just managed to beat them.
27-24 it ended, defence forced plenty of turnovers which was nice, but we need serious work if we are going to be contenders for anything this season.

Jacksonville def. Buffalo 36-26

Really happy with the win this morning from my Jaguars. That's two wins in a row after beating the Colts in a thriller last week. A couple of reasons why we got the W today and I think it starts with QB Dave Garrard. He had two awful games in the losses to San Diego and Philadelphia, but since we traded for Trent Edwards, the level of play from Garrard has improved to the Garrard we all know. Not only that, we weren't so dependent on Maurice Jones-Drew today as fellow RB Deji Karim had a bit of a breakout game rushing for 70 yards on 15 carries. Finally, we were able to stop the run of C.J. Spiller, who ran for only 31 yards albeit, he only had five carries.

So now were 3-2 and sitting atop the AFC South (who'd have thought it) with a massive Divisional rival in out next game, that being the Tennessee Titans next Tuesday which is the Monday Night Football game on ESPN in the US.

Everyteam in the AFC south are 3-2. Jacksonville are second, still behind Houston are 2-0 in divisonal games. I can't see them beating Tennessee next week and making the playoffs. There is just too much talent on the other 3 teams which put them ahead of Jacksonville in my books.

Also if Spiller ran for 30 yards on 5 carries at an average of 6. You didn't stop the run. The Buffalo play caller did.

Nailed a $13 multi today - only had 5 on it though.

Atlanta -3 x Tampa +6.5 x Philly + 3 x Chicago. Also put money on San Fran to cover losses. To only finish 30 up for the day. But a wins a win.

Yeah no doubt of the four teams, we're the least talented but even last season we were in with a chance of one of the Wild Card spots with a couple of games left. The loss to the Colts killed us though.

And yeah Spiller didn't have as much of an impact as I thought he would originally. Still, that's a good thing for us as Spiller is a beast. I watched him a few times for Clemson last season, single handedly got them to the ACC Championship Game.

Jets lead 9-0 atm, into the 3rd.
Some of the ways the Vikings have failed on offense tonight are laughable.

Favre to Moss for a Vikings TD, now it's 12-7 Jets.

Also that's Favre's 500th passing TD and he also passed 70,000 passing yards. RIDICULOUS!!!

Jets def. Vikings 29-20

The Vikings got to 15-13 down and went for the two-point play, but Favre's throw was intercepted and on the Jets next drive, LT rushed for the TD and that was pretty much the end of it.

Really fun game to watch.
Credit has to go to Favre, after being awful for the best part of 3 qtrs he turned it on towards the end and almost got them the win. The Jets will be very happy to get away from there with that one, they werent at their best tonight.
Congratulations to BRett for throwing both 500 TDs and 70,000 passing yards. Absurd numbers!

They really should be 5-0, that first game vs Baltimore Sanchez didnt play his normal game and youd have to think if he did then theyd be 100%.
Ah well, all in the past but they are definitely looking the goods right now.
