Inconsistent halves. If they were consistent then maybe.. just maybe.

Yeah he has.
I'd have Woolnough or Thompson for starting props, just to add experience.

If we do happen to get Berrigan, i think our team in round 1 will be...

1. Lance Hohaia
2. Kevin Locke
3. Krisnan Inu
4. Jerome Ropati
5. Manu Vatuvei
6. James Maloney
7. Brett Seymour
8. Sam Rapira
9. Aaron Heremaia
10. Russell Packer
11. Simon Mannering
12. Feleti Mateo
13. Micheal Luck

14. Shaun Berrigan
15. Ben Matulino
16. Jacob Lillyman
17. Lewis Brown

That bench has to be close to 1 of the best going round next year?

Im not convinced with Locke/Inu on our right flank, there defence will be too sh.it. Moon could tighten all that up and we could have Locke/Inu battling for that 1 wing spot.

Solid forwards, espec our backrow. Heard rumours of Mateo playing #6 but for game 1, i dont think too much will be risked. Steve Rapira or Ukuma Ta'ai used as our 18th man.

Looks good. Plenty of depth in the forwards, especially if Ta'i continues to improve at last years rate. He'd push very hard for a spot.

Agree Inu/Locke could be a concern defensively.

But Inu's defensive lapses have been (like the rest of his game) been down more to attitude than ability. The times I've seen him get caught out have usually been when he's been too casual and therefore slow to react.

Hopefully a good pre-season and a few kicks up the ass will instill some steel into him because there's no doubt he has the talent to do well.

Moses Pangai has been tremendous in the trials and was one of our best players last night and some people on Cowboys Stampede reckon he could be in line for a spot on the wing or at centre... would be interesting but it's not gonna happen imo

Yeah i agree, that team looks pretty alright.. even though Graham being there makes me cringe! i'd much rather him than Bani.

I'd love to see Pangai there, i think he set up our only try yesterday. Apparently his defence isn't all that great, but he's awesome in attack.

For Round 1

- Assuming Travis Burns is suspended for the mid-air tackle in the trials
- Lachlan Coote not fully fit (outside chance to start for Round 1 though)
- Trent Waterhouse injured, a pectoral muscle injury
- Nafe Seluini has foot injury - assuming he's not ready

1. Michael Gordon
2. Sandor Earl
3. Michael Jennings
4. Brad Tighe
5. Adrian Purtell
6. Arana Taumata
7. Luke Walsh
8. Sam McKendry
9. Kevin Kingston
10. Petero Civoniceva (c)
11. Nathan Smith
12. Yileen Gordon
13. Luke Lewis

14. Harry Seijka
15. Tim Grant
16. Matthew Bell
17. Joesph Paulo/Michael Worrincy

Hope those injured/suspended players becomes avaliable as soon as possible, my projected side for round 1 looks too unexperienced :/

My guess for round 1

1.Josh Hoffman
2.Denan Kemp/Jack Reed (if Kemp is injured)
3.Dale Copley
4.Justin Hodges
5.Jharal Yow Yeh
6.Darren Lockyer
7.Peter Wallace
8.Ben Hannant
9.Andrew McCullough
10.Sam Thaiday
11.Matt Gillett
12.Ben Te'o
13.Corey Parker

14.Ben Hunt/Gerard Beale
15.Alex Glenn
16.Shane Tronc
17.Scott Anderson/Josh McGuire/Nick Kenny

For some reason I think they might push Thaiday up to the front row to partner Hannant, making an immense starting forward pack. If Thaiday, Gillett, Te'o & Parker can back up their form from 2010, if Hannant can get back to his best (which I think is quite likely to happen) and McCullough to get back to the promising form that we all know he is capable of then I am going to be very very happy in the pants. And also not to mention a bulked up Alex Glenn coming off the bench with his fearless defence and good ball running. Gillett & Parker have also bulked up a bit so at the moment it's looking like the Broncos are going to have an awesome pack. Which is strange to say because it has been so soft with hardly any depth in the past few years.

Starting to get pretty excited for round 1 if you didn't notice. Very Happy
