Brisbane
As Brisbane will prepare for their last year without future immortal Darren Lockyer they will be looking to send the league icon on a tremendous high, While I am sure Wayne Bennett must be bitterly dissapointed he won't be able to coach Locky to one final last premiership.

Alot of doubt has to come onto their current coach Ivan Henjak, Brisbane failing to miss the final 8 for the first time nearly 20 years, And without Lockyer for 2012 and beyond their on field performance will show without their two maestros captain and coach.

Pros- Brisbane Veterans Sam Thaiday and Corey Parker hitting career best form will to be prove to be a good motivator for the "Baby" broncos and they must lift for a life without Lockyer.

Cons- Their coach, Alot of doubt reigns supreme over Ivan Henjak at the moment. Always a tough task filling the shoes of arguably the most successful coach rugby league history though plenty of expectation is with the Broncos hierachy and their supporters and it's something he will have to life with until his time at the club comes to an end.

Summary: Will need a favourable injury record if they are to challenge within the Top 4 teams, I have no doubt Darren Lockyer will be in for a stellar season and all his troops will be pulling for him, Solid platform for young guns for Josh Hoffman and Andrew McCullough with Veterans Parker & Thaiday hitting career best form for the platform. Plenty of strike outwide for Broncos to be dangerous with Hodges, Hoffman and Yow Yeh

Predicted Finish: 5th.

Finish it soon, Battery dying...

Canberra Raiders
Has been the victim of negative contrasts in the media in recent times, The Joel Monaghan incident and of course the loss of their chief playmaker Terry Campese for an expectant mid-season 2011 return. A club slowly on the rise, a very youthful squad will gain that little bit extra NRL experience as time goes on.

Coach David Furner is the perfect fit for the Raiders. Asa young coach himself has received praise from one of the veterans in Tim Sheens as his replacement for Head Coach of Australia. Young Coach and Young Troops equals being able to relate in a professional environment both on the field and off, David of course a NSW and Test level representative backrower playing all his Australian Career at the Raiders, Certainly someone like their Captain Alan Tongue must look up to.

Pros- The 2010 form of Josh Dugan is something every raider fan has been waiting since the rise of Brett Mullins in the early 90's, A highlight of an extended rebuilding period after becoming a dying breed at the end of the 90's, With many greats including David Furner one of the last to leave in 2000 leaving for greener pastures.

Cons- The longer term loss of Campese and their disruptant off-season so far, Canberra maybe forced to throw a young player in the deep end too soon causing problems for the team and that player's mental development in pursuing and cementing a spot in the top grade, It's often seen that a mental blemish sometimes is never healed or it alternates their development as a player, Let's hope it works out for them.

Summary- Half a season without arguably their best playmaker might be a bit too hard to swallow, The likes of Josh Dugan, Josh McCrone and The Incoming half as Campese's replacement will have their work cut out in keeping the same level of performance throughout the year, Further injury will see them having a very difficult time for the remainder of the season, Lack of finals, rep experience, still the youngest of the NRL sides will add further tough obstacles into trying to establish a finals spot in 2011.

Predicted Finish: 12th

Canterbury Bulldogs

What looks to be a new line-up for 2011, The Bulldogs will look to put their patchy past behind them. Off-field incidences, Players Walking Out and high to elementary achieviements in the NRL within a short space of time has turned their club upside down, With possibly the best run club on the high up in the competition they've continued a professional management.

A New Bulldogs era will begin in the new season will see the signing of long time Panthers enforcer Frank Pritchard a return of Greg Eastwood along with many youngsters bred and bought will start their life in a new environment, Aiden Tolman a much rated young forward who will be looking to have his real break out year, Upcomer Ben Barba will be looking to stamp his authority of the No.1 guernsey, Trent Hodkinson will begin his further establishing career in the blue and white and Parramatta's Kris Keating will also seek a starting spot in the halves.

Pros- Todd Greenberg and His professionalism within the club, on the field you'd look at the renovation of their player stocks and it's a clear sign that they are looking to turn 2010's negatives into a 2011 positive being the start of the Dogs Dynasty.

Cons- Their lack of experience in their station of attack or spine. With two our of their four players recently coming out of the Toyota Cup competition and the unsteady Ben Roberts leaving Michael Ennis with the world on his shoulders, Being able to grind out tough games against tough opposition maybe the hardest of tasks for them especially in pressure games.

Summary- They sure have the attacking capabilities big and small but a key for them is their defence, I think they have a great balance of attacking and defensive stocks in their 2011 squad with great depth in the forwards, and a great platform for their young halves. A possible 2009 parramatta outlook.

Predicted Finish: 6th.

Laughing also, Lockyer hasn't ruled out playing in 2012. So this might not be his last season.

Penrith won't be as good next year as they were in 2010. No way in hell.
