May not have got the headlines of the Taylors, Inglis' etc but was always the player first picked and a favorite among the fans. Came in at our lowest ebb and stuck solid for the whole time. He ends it as the 6th most capped Rabbitoh with 190 games for the Rabbits, only 21 behind club legend Bob Macarthy on 211. Was hoping he'd get an extension next year so he could break that record and get the accolades he deserves. He Spent most of his time playing for a contract as he'd only ever get 1-2 year extensions but that never bothered him. One of the last of a dying breed these days. Always played for the love of the game and was never the money or the glory seeker that most players are these days. Hopefully there's a decent crowd there on monday to see him off one last time, though it may be more fitting in a couple weeks when we play the Sharks, the only other club he has played for as a Cronulla junior. May not finish a legend of the game, but will be remembered, by the Red & Green army at the very least, as one of it's true champions.
