Nah Pearce will play. The selectors wank over him too much.

I'd love to see Soward and Pearce paired together. They'll get mauled.

Mullen will continue to carve and will get the upper hand over Pearce. I expect Pearce to back in Game 2 though

i know this will sound bias, but i reckon hornby as halfback wouldn't let you down. he's a very smart and consistant player who has been there before so has the experience.
or has horny retired from rep footy which is why you never hear his name thrown up?

My Blues Game I Side (did this many times now Grin)

1. Josh Dugan (Canberra Raiders) / Jarryd Hayne (Parramatta Eels)
2. Brett Morris (St. George Illawarra Dragons)
3. Mark Gasnier (St. George Illawarra Dragons)
4. Josh Morris (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs)
5. Michael Gordon (Penrith Panthers)
6. Jamie Soward (St. George Illawarra Dragons)
7. Jarrod Mullen (Newcastle Knights)
8. Aiden Tolman (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs)
9. Robbie Farah (West Tigers)
10. Kade Snowden (Cronulla Sharks)
11. Greg Bird (Gold Coast Titans)
12. Ben Creagh (St. George Illawarra Dragons)
13. Paul Gallen (Cronulla Sharks)

14. Jamal Idris (Cantebury-Bankstown Bulldogs)
15. Tom Learoyd-Lahrs (Canberra Raiders)
16. Tim Mannah (Parramatta Eels)
17. Chris Heighington (West Tigers)

18. Chris Houston (Newcastle Knights)

Tough side to pick, the bench is still up for grabs really whereas the forward pack looks certain to have the likes of Gallen, Farah, Creagh, Snowden and Bird all starting. The backs, however, was quite diffucult to select. The wingers I chose Brett Morris and Michael Gordon will definitely be there (I hope). The custodian role and centres, I have no clue. Hayne will probably get fullback, but I prefer Dugan. The centre pairing I chose of Gaz and J.Morris I'm not certain.

With Gaz's form lately, he should be certain for a spot. Beau Scott should take up Idris' spot due to Scott being a second-rower. TLL hasn't been dangerous lately so, Houston or someone else should take his spot imo.

Hoppa is ready for Origin after less then 10 NRL games? Think you're pushing it a bit.

Other then that, I pretty much agree with this team. Swap Heighington for someone else perhaps but he wouldn't look lost in Origin.

Josh Dugan and Jarryd Hayne in the same team anyone??

Dugan said that they can wreak havoc if them two played for the NSW in the same side. He is also happy to move to the wing with Hayne to fullback.

Wouldn't mind it.
imo, Dugan > Hayne, so Hayne on the wing if Stuart does decide to select both.

1. Dugan
2. Hayne
3. Gasnier
4. Idris
5. Gordon/Morris/Uate???

If Soward is out, Mullen to 6, Pearce at 7.

Gordon is up against Uate, Morris, and Dugan/Hayne.

So if Soward is out, are you saying that Gordon will definitely be in the NSW squad over Uate, Morris and others only because he can goal kick?
I'd love Gordon in there, but he can't get in the team THAT easily if Soward is out.

God I hope these spastic NSW selectors don't pick Soward. He'll be fit but they are renowned to be shit cunts.
