Question: Will Locky be playing in the Four Nations at the end of the year??

If not, this will be his last test in the green and gold Sad Definitely his last in Australia! Since the Four Nations are held in England/Wales this year.

Aus are playing NZ at Newcastle after the NRL season and before the 4 nations, so it won't be his last in Australia.

I think he'll be playing the 4 Nations anyway

is morris really out of form? i know he hasn't been scoring tries but that's because the dragons have been attacking down the right hand side a lot more often this year, and cooper has been stealing them all from him. i honestly don't think he's out of form, if you need him to finish off a set move for you, i'd back him in 100%

A bit of en exaggeration, but how many australian eligible specialist wingers (remember Sheens won't pick out of position) are there with either enough proven experience at Test level or enough recent exceptional form are there.....?

Trent Merrin might be selected in the Aussie side... um ok scratch If he gets selected, then DJ has too as well!

http://www.nrl.com/stats-insider-kangaroos,-nz-teams-picked-on-the-stats/tabid/10874/newsid/62486/default.aspx

that was an interesting read, about if they picked the team on Stats this year.

AUS:

1. Will Hopoate
2. Brett Morris
3. Matt Cooper
4. Mark Gasnier
5. A. Uate
6. Jamie Soward
7. Cooper Cronk
8. Aiden Tolman
9. Cameron Smith
10. Luke Bailey
11. Ben Creagh
12. Anthony Watmough
13. Paul Gallen

NZ:

1. Lance Hohaia
2. Jason Nightingale
3. Shaun Kenny-Dowall
4. Junior Sa’u
5. Kalifa Faifai Loa
6. Benji Marshall
7. Nathan Fien
8. James Tamou
9. Nathan Fien
10. Roy Asotasi
11. Zeb Taia
12. Kevin Proctor
13. Jeremy Smith

* This is based on stats apparently
** Fien is best choice for Halfback and Hooker for NZ

also based on those stats teams, 11/13 of the Australian side are actually NSW players. Even that surprises me that the Blues players are playing better statistically

Stats mean nothing. Why? because no one in their right mind would choose Soward over King Locky.

"Thurston has been on fire this season and is likely to get his job back in the real Test side, but based on stats Cronk pips him at the post. How, you ask? Well, Thurston is awesome in line-break assists and try assists but he allowed Cronk to sneak past based on kick metres and, more importantly, more missed tackles. Thurston is missing almost four a game, Cronk fewer than two. "

Kick metres and tackles are more important from a halfback than points scored, try assists and line break assists. Who knew? Rolling Eyes

Brett Morris has been very quiet this season so far, only 1 try in 6 rounds.

He has done nothing wrong so far this year, infact he's been solid and consistent for the Dragons. Not his fault that Dragons haven't been raiding down their left side like they did last year in which Morris gets all the tries. Still a 100% reliable winger and is also one of the best wingers in our current competition. Deserves a spot IMO.

1. Slater
2. Hayne ? ( or maybe FLASH GORDON Very Happy )
3. Inglis
4. Hodges
5. Morris
6. Lockyer
7. Thurston
8. Scott
9. Smith
10. Civoniceva
11. Thaiday
12. Myles
13. Gallen

14. Cronk
15. Bird
16. Creagh
17. Tolman

imo.

I'm sorry but Cooper Cronk? To say that team is based on statistics is a gross misrepresentation of the truth, that team is based on Benjamin Everill's intepretation of the stats, which clearly leaves something to be desired, I mean what kind of fucking moron picks a halfback based purely on kick metres and missed tackles, never mind the key statistics for the position like Try assists or line break assists, no they're not relevant at all. That's like saying Corey Parker makes a better Lock than Paul Gallen because he's kicked more goals this season.....

- Yow Yeh and Morris on the wings, Idris on the bench. No Hayne
- Hannant, Shillo, Gidley on the bench, with Creagh in the 2nd row
- The rest of the team picks itself
- Merrin may not be out of the equation yet
