Remember back a few years ago now the Gidley/Tahu combination was exceptional for the Knights. Is there any combination as good as this in the NRL today? What is the best combination?

do you mean the whole 2,3,4,5 or right or left?
hmm, there are so many combinations that are good, it is hard to find the best
i really actually can't think of the best one, i've picked my brain for about 10 minutes and havent come up with one.
i think maybe inglis/quinn but thats probably just namesake when inglis did play centre

Thats actually a really hard question and quite a good one. I'd have to say the Warriors probably have it the best atm on both sides. Ropati, Vatuvai and Tate, Kemp; very damaging either side of the park.

Yea the Warriors do have a great backline, I very much looking forward to seeing the Tate and Kemp combination in action.

THR "John Sutton and Luke Stewart" both are so good they could play wing and centre but for the sides sake they play in the forwards

Hahaha thats a good laugh lol. If Cooper/Boyd team up they will be good in 09 but probably Lyon/D Williams will be good.

Seriously it is tough all have good points and bad points. (plus some i forget which winger centre combo it is ie. are they on the same side of field)

Manly - Wolfman + Matai or Lyon + T-rex
Storm - Inglis + Quinn
Raiders - Monaghan + Carney
Broncos - Hodges + ??
Warriors - Tate + Kemp, would be fantastic if it was Tate + Vatuvai
Parra - B Smith + Inu

almost forgot

Panthers - Jennings + Gordon

The others arent really worth putting up.

Souths have some really nice potential wing/centre combinations that could really be amongst the best; At this moment I am not sure how Maguire will position them.
