I just think he is a good player, same type as Michael Johnson but with a few more ball skills. Obviously you just look out for what they do with the ball in hand rather than all the other work

Who's Michael Johnson?

He is a work horse from Hawkes Bay, he is a very underrated player.

Ah ok, thanks. Will have to keep an eye out for him.

For a horrible moment there I thought it was a typo and he was comparing Kieran Read to Michael Jones.

Well summarised Hendo. Blindside that has played over 100 games for Magpies, should have made Hurricanes in younger days and was in the squad last year but didnt get any game time

And na definitely not comparing him to Jones haha. Kieren Read can only dream of having a skill set anywhere near that

It's a shame we only went up in the top division when Johnson was nearing the end of his career, he would of been great in the Super 14.

Think he might have had an earlier offer to move to Wellington but chose to stick it out with the Magpies

If he hadn't of fucked off to France for the money, he probably wouldn't have this serious long term injury and he would be playing for the ABs and Stephen Donald probably wouldn't even make the bench and we would of beaten the French last weekend. Dam U DC, and now he is going to turn his back on the region that made him and go to the Blues!

lol - easy hendo Smile

Worrying thing is, Michael Johnson may not get much game time with Lowe/Naoupu/Waldrom likely to be the main trio in some capacity...

Yea Johnson got hardly any game time, Hawkes Bay have a massive loose forward trio, Karl Lowe has gotten so much better in the last couple of years.
