The Gus Factor If you think about it.. Tahu never really ignited at Penrith. Laurie was shit. Elford didn't contribute. Waterhouse is ageing and is getting worse every game. It's Joseph by the way, not Junior, and thank God he has left. Bell is shit. Our only 'big' loss is Petero, then again he is ageing like House and it's the right time for him to leave. We've been able to retain some of our Penrith juniors like McKendry, Coote, Grant, Jenko etc. I'm pretty happy thus far. Ciraldo and Galea are solid depth players, but I am not quite happy with Chris Armit.. Plus, if we had the luxury to be owned by some billionaire we would be buying players from other clubs like crazy like what Newcastle did. Newcastle's motto should be 'Bought, not bred' for the 2012 season.  | |

| Devastated Robbo is leaving. Has been such a consistent and reliable player for us since joining the club. Hopefully we can send him off a winner and he can bag another 3 tries in the GF. Heard rumours Ben Farrar might come back from the UK and with Wolfman, Oldfield and Whare also there we should be alright, but it certainly sucks to a champion like Robbo | |

| Roosters re-signed Arona and Guerra each on a one year deal, as announced in the Roosters Awards night. They've also signed Daniel Tupou from Parramatta's lower grades.
Speaking of lower grades, Penrith have signed Tweed's Ryan Simpkins on a two year deal. Apparently this guy isn't too far from first grade and with the departures of Bell, House and Petro, it further boosts his chances for a spot in our 17 next season. | |
