I don't see Folau committing to his 4 year contract. He'll end up back in league in a year or two IMO.

Well he's already said he's committed. The links to NRL clubs are pure speculation and Folau would've knocked it back instantly. He may not see his contract out, but he won't be leaving next year. No way in hell.

The NRL may very well have all the Burgess brothers in the NRL in 2012, with Tom & Luke planning to play here. Not for Souths though.

The longer it takes Cooper to commit the more I think he is league bound he just doesn't wanna risk his place in the world cup and of course folau said his committed everyone always does but they aren't always

I have also heard this. Parramatta are looking to pay out the rest of the contract for the Bulldogs for Sonny-Bill. The coup would be ideal for Parramatta's recruitment, which over the last few years have been shabby.

Parramatta looking good for next season if that were to be the case. Blessed with several established halves in the roster next season, a potiental best forward pack in the competiton if SBW does decide to join Parra, and young guns like Jacob Loko, Ryan Morgan, Mitchell Allgood etc will look to have their best years yet. Future looking bright for the Blue and Yellow.

More Parramatta news. Joel Reddy has seemingly played his last game for the club, out for the rest of the season and most likely linking up with the Bulldogs to join brother-in-law Bryson Goodwin.

Apparently Locke's agent got him a deal over there but hes got an option in his current contract with us and the Warriors arn't looking like letting him go. With the fish signing a long term contract before his injury, you would think Locke would be just a back up for us.

Esi Tonga has rumoured to have signed with Parramatta, allowing Joel Reddy to leave for the Bulldogs next season and also due to the signings of Idris and Champion from the Gold Coast club.

Newcastle have expressed interest in Nathan Fien, as he is looking to move with Wayne Bennett.
Danny Buderus, former Knights player, has apparently also signed with the club.
Darius Boyd is expected to sign after the Origin Series.

Cronulla Sharks have amassed interest in former player Greg Bird, as the Titans look to free some cap space. The losses of Douglas and Snowden allow Cronulla a hefty amount of money to burn.
Justin Poore is on the outer with Parramatta, and Cronulla are interested in his services following the losses of their two main props next season.

RUMOUR OF THE WEEK
Speculation that Israel Folau has agreed to a deal with Parramatta surfaced after a club function on Wednesday. AFL boss Andrew Demetriou said yesterday that Folau had phoned him on Wednesday to assure him that he was happy in the new code. However, the Eels are still keen to sign him.
